Founded back in July 2017, by Chief Executive Officer, Ms Roanna Maraj, ShupHub was created to provide customers a safe online avenue for them to navigate & transaction purchases with local stores from the comfort of their own home while having the added convenience of having  the products delivered straight to your front door of business. 

A graduate from the Arthur Lok Jack, Graduate School of Business, with a Masters in International Marketing, Roanna founded her Tech Company on the simple principle of spearheading the Local Retail E-commerce Evolution.

It was this brave business leap that led to Shuphub.com being nominated for the Champions of Business award in Technology the very first year of business.

Pre- Covid, customers were appreciating the convenience of online shopping more and more. Rather than spending hours searching & running from physical store to store, people were making purchases over the Internet during breaks at work, before the school run and in harsh weather conditions.

The rise of Online Shopping made it easier for users to shop around, compare prices in real time and make decisions on purchasing. It was this convenience that lead Ms. Maraj to Trinidad and Tobago’s “Amazon”.
